Psari...the name says it all. Psari is the word for fish in the greek language. You walk into Psari and you'll hear the sounds of the music of greece. Thats just the beginning. The great wait saf is ready to greet you. Then the journey begins. You begin with a bottle of your favorite wine or a cocktail. For myself i'll just have a bottle of delicious Panna water. Then you order, tzatziki(the best in NY) an old family recipe. Then comes the greek salad, village style or with some greens added. You then order octopus appetizer, and some grilled shrimp then the main course fish red snapper, bronzini or a variety of others there are many Greek delicacies like saganaki the fried cheese. I could go on and on you have to go and try. I keep going back. It's my Greek restaurant of choice being a second generation Greek American and I know what's good Yasou kali orexi.

Came here for a dinner with friends, waitress was super cute and nice and called us all senorita. Food was great, got grilled olives, pita, grilled zucchini, fries, potato slices, calamari, branzino, nice vibe and fast casual kinda low key place for a good dinner. We would come again for the cute waitress with nice vibe and good food.

It's simply the best at what they do. Dishes taste better each visit. How is that possible?! However don't expect the same for table service. It's the opposite. Except for 2 workers that are exceptional at customer service and if you're a regular customer you may know who they are. Other staff members are lost at sea. And never to be found.

What I ordered : Grilled Octopus 7/10 a bit burnt at the tips but pretty good Black Bass Fish 7/10 salty, veryyyy salty. Fishy taste, wouldn't recommend if you're looking forward to a light fish but it's nice. Muscles with olive oil and garlic (off menu) Smelt 4/10 Salad with tomates 9/10 Potatoes 8/10 Potatoes chips 9/10 Service : pretty good, normal service. Ambiance: usually full of people talking, smiling, happy, date nights families, friends all hanging out. Nice warm lights and leather seating and chairs. Smells AMAZING. Pros: I loved the ambiance of the sea and ocean with amazing pictures of sea animals. I would totally recommend for if your craving Greek seafood and Mediterranean spices. (Bathroom is downstairs by the way) Cons: not cheap , I'll tell you that. Buts it's a good deal if you're having a mindset of expensive. The octopus was a bit too grilled at the ends, which I do get is the taste but if you don't enjoy that burnt sensation in your mouth don't order the grilled octopus.
